Residence Signa - Perugia

Excellent value for money compared to the cost of regular hotels in Perugia. Nice to be able to cook in an apartment during a long holiday in Europe instead of just staying in a hotel and eating out. Staff at the regular hotel very helpful and allowed us to leave our bags there on the day we left even though we were only staying at their 'residence' down the street.

Not a criticism of Signa but if you are considering staying elsewhere in Perugia (e.g. the Chochotel near the station) you need to be aware that the elevation difference between the hotels lower down and the hotels near the center is considerable. The Signa is higher up and only a small walk uphill to the old town. From other hotels lower down, the walk would be difficult for many. Please check this carefully if you plan to walk between your hotel and the center.
